Other Types of Mediation
If you are experiencing a dispute with another person and can’t agree on how to resolve it, mediation provides you with an opportunity to do this without going to Court.
We can mediate any type of dispute as we are Nationally Accredited mediators. For example, workplace disputes, disputes between family members about Wills & Estates, and commercial disputes.
Mediation is not a legal process; it is a way to reach an agreement without going to Court. If you wish for the agreement you reach to have legal force, this is something you can then discuss with your lawyer.
What is mediation?
A mediator is an independent person who assists parties to a dispute to communicate in a constructive way with a view to resolving the dispute.
The mediation service we offer is independent (we’re not on anyone’s side), flexible (we offer face to face and online mediations) and professional (we are Nationally Accredited mediators).
What type of dispute can be mediated?
We can assist with any type of dispute, as long as both parties to the dispute want to resolve it. Mediation is something parties attend voluntarily when they have a genuine intention to negotiate and resolve the dispute.
Before any mediation takes place we conduct a thorough ‘Intake’ with each party. This is conducted over the phone or via Microsoft Teams, and usually takes around 45 minutes. This is where we assess risk, understand the circumstances of your situation, and prepare you for the mediation.
Once intakes are complete, we organise the mediation at a time/date that suits both parties. We conduct the mediation either face-to-face or online via Microsoft Teams.
